honey-dijon grilled chicken

  • 1/2 cup 100% apple juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup pure clover honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 lb. chicken pieces

  1. In a small bowl, combine juice, olive oil, honey, mustard, pepper and garlic.
  2. Pour marinade into a resealable plastic bag. Add chicken to bag, seal and shake to coat all chicken parts with marinade. Place in refrigerator for 2 hours.
  3. Preheat grill to medium. Remove chicken from marinade and discard marinade that is not absorbed by chicken.
  4. Grill chicken over indirect heat for about 20–30 minutes, turning occasionally, until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Serving Suggestion: Serve with potato salad and steamed green beans
