  • 8 oz. small shell pasta
  • 3 links Nature’s Promise Sun-dried Tomato & Basil chicken sausage
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  1. Cook the pasta according to instructions. Drain and shock.
  2. Grill the chicken sausage until cooked through, set aside to cool.
  3. Whisk together the vinegar, oil, mustard, salt, pepper and garlic. Add the basil and stir to incorporate.
  4. Once sausage has cooled, chop into small pieces.
  5. In a large bowl, toss the pasta, chopped sausage, onions, tomatoes, bell pepper and Parmesan cheese with the dressing.
  6. Chill at least 4 hours before serving.
  7. Season to taste with additional ground black pepper, if desired.
