Do not consume raw batter. You will need: 1 egg. 6 tbsp (3/4 stick) butter, softened. 2 cookie sheets. Note: Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for a shiny metal baking sheet. 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for a dark non-stick metal sheet. Makes 24 cookies. 1. Blend it! Cream butter and egg in a mixing bowl, using an electric mixer. Stir in cookie mix until soft dough forms. 2. Drop it! Drop dough in tablespoons about 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly. 3. Bake it! Bake at 375 or 350 for 9-12 min. Cool 5 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove cookies with a spatula to a cooling rack; cool completely. Enjoy!
