To Prepare Batter: Add 1/2 cup Batter mix to 2/3 cup of cold water (for fish fillets empty contents of this package and add 2 1/2 cups of cold water). Mix with rotary beater until smooth and free from lumps. Deep frying instructions: Use a large, heavy pan no more than half full of oil (about 2"), or a deep fryer. Food should float freely while frying. After frying, drain in basket or on crumpled paper.
