Melt. 2 tbsp of butter in saute pan. Add one packet of bookers candied yam seasoning mix. Stir and mix well. Set aside. Start preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Peel one medium sweet potato. Rinse sweet potatoes and pat dry. Cut sweet potatoes in 1/2 inch slices. Place sweet potatoes in baking dish. Next top the sweet potatoes with the candied yam seasoning and butter mixture. Cover sweet potatoes with aluminum foil and place in a 350 degrees oven and bake for 30 minutes. Carefully remove baking dish from oven (yams are not done!). Remove foil and baste yams thoroughly with the liquid. Cover yams with foil and return sweet potatoes back to oven for last thirty minutes. Remove from oven. Caution dish will be hot!
