To Melt: In microwave-safe container or disposable decorating bag, microwave one package of candy at 50% power or defrost setting for 1 minute. Stir thoroughly in container or knead bag. Continue to microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring or kneading each time until candy is melted. Your candy is now ready to use. Dip, drizzle or pour into molds, re-melt as much as you need. Have fun! Helpful Hints: A double boiler can also be used. Candy may melt in bag at warmer temperatures; if this occurs, simply follow the directions above. Once candy has reached a smooth consistency, additional heating will thicken the candy. Never add liquids to candy. If candy is too thick, add 2 teaspoons vegetable shortening per 12 oz. of candy or Wilton EZ Thin Dipping Aid. Store unused candy in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
