A blend of choice black tea with lime and lemon perfumed with Bergamot lord grey tea is characterized by its lemony taste and refreshing scent. This tea is named after Charles Earl Grey, the British diplomat who used to add Bergamot essence to his tea and thus improve its flavour. The Wissotzky Saga. 1849: Klonimus Wolf Wissotzky establishes the Wissotzky Tea Company in Moscow. The quality and excellence of its products soon result in a multitude of devoted customers in the Russian Empire and neighboring countries. 1904: Wissotzky widens its trading activities in Europe. A branch is opened in New York to answer the growing demand by Russian newcomers for the quality tea they were accustomed to in the old country. 1907: following the success of its products, Wissotzky establishes the Anglo-Asiatic Company as its head office in London, center of the world's tea trade.
