After the birth of our daughter Amy in 1987, we found there was little time to prepare the wholesome nutritious food we normally ate. Realizing there were others like ourselves, we set up Amy's Kitchen to produce delicious, nourishing frozen meals for health-conscious people too busy to cook. We use only the finest natural and organic ingredients and prepare them with the same careful attention in our kitchen as you would in your own home. No meat, fish, shellfish, poultry, eggs or peanuts are ever used in any Amy's products. The idea for Amy's Kitchen was born along with our daughter Amy on Nov. 18, 1987. Suddenly there was little time to prepare wholesome, nutritious meals. Amy's Kitchen was created for people like us, looking for a hearty, home cooked, tasty meal made with natural ingredients, but with the convenience of a frozen dinner. We are starting with a traditional favorite, pot pie. It will remind you of the pot pies you grew up with. Our Vegetable Pot Pie is made with organic vegetables and tofu that are simmered in a creamy sauce, flavored with herbs and spices, then baked in a tender, flaky crust made from 100% organic whole wheat flour. We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do. No genetically engineered ingredients (GMOs). All dairy ingredients are made with pasteurized, rBST hormone free milk. Keep frozen. Ovens may vary. Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove overwrap. Place tray on baking sheet. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Let sit 1 minute. Serve. (If glaze is desired, brush top crust with butter or milk and honey after first 20 minutes of baking). Microwave Oven: Remove overwrap. Place tray on a microwave-safe plate. Cook on high for 4 minutes. Let sit 1 minute. Serve. Toaster Oven: Remove overwrap and tray. Place in an oven-safe dish. Follow conventional oven instructions.
