Heating Instructions: Microwave: Pour Broccoli, Cauliflower and Carrots in microwave-safe dish: 1 1/2 quart size for up to half bag, 2 quart size for whole bag. Add water and cover. Microwave on high. Drain. Season to taste. Servings 2 (8 oz): Use 2 tablespoons of water. Cook for 3 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 4 minutes.* Servings 5 (16 oz): Use 1/3 cup of water. Cook for 3 minutes. Stir and continue to cook 7 minutes.* *Microwave cooking times vary from one over to another. For best results, consult owner's manual. Stove Top: For each 8 ounces (approximately 1/8 bag) of Broccoli, Cauliflower and Carrots, bring 1/2 cup water to a boil. Add Broccoli, Cauliflower and Carrots and bring to a second boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer 5-6 minutes, until just tender. Do not overcook. Drain. Season to taste. Steam: Pour 8 ounces of Broccoli, Cauliflower and Carrots in vegetable steamer and place over boiling water. Cover and steam 8-10 minutes, until just tender. Season to taste. Keep frozen until ready to use. Must be fully cooked. Do not eat raw.
