Heating Instructions: Microwave: Do not puncture or open steam-bag before heating. Gently massage package to break apart frozen Sugar Snap Peas. Place steam-bag, directions side up, in microwave oven for 4-5 minutes. During cooking, the bag will inflate slowly. Special vent holes will allow steam to escape and a sound may be heard. Allow steam bag to stand for food safety and quality before serving. Carefully handle bag when removing from microwave, season to taste and serve. Stove Top: Bring 1/2 cup water to a boil in saucepan; add whole package (12 oz) of frozen Sugar Snap Peas. Bring to a second boil; stir, cover and reduce heat. Simmer 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally; until heated thoroughly. Drain, season to taste and serve. Keep frozen until ready to use. Not ready to eat. For food safety, cook thoroughly to 165 degrees F (internal temperature). Because microwaves and stove-tops vary, adjusting cook times and heat settings may be required. Refrigerate leftovers.
