Heating Instructions: Microwave: Place frozen Cooked Squash in microwave-safe casserole dish. Add 2 Tbsp. of water. Cover and cook 6-8 minutes, stirring once about midway through cooking period (check for cold spots; break up dumps with fork); if necessary stir vegetables thoroughly and cook for additional 1-3 minutes. Season to taste and cover, allowing to stand for food safety and quality before serving. Keep frozen until ready to use. Not ready to eat. For food safety, cook thoroughly to 165 degrees F (internal temperature). Stove Top: Heat frozen Cooked Squash in covered saucepan until partially thawed, then spread apart with fork. Heat thoroughly 8-10 minutes over low heat, stirring frequently, while checking for cold spots; continue cooking until thawed and heated through. Season to taste, stir and serve. Because microwaves and stove-tops vary, adjusting cook times and heat settings may be required. Refrigerate leftovers. Keep frozen.
