Salted and roasted ground peanuts with crunchy, dark chocolate flecks. Gluten free. The original name of this flavor is The Buckeye State. To this day, if you come into our scoop shops and order it, our team knows exactly what you want. I created this ice cream as an homage to the state candy of Ohio, the buckeye - little rounds of dark chocolate filled with peanut butter. The peanut butter we use is roasted just for us and crunchy chocolate flecks punctuate the uber creaminess. It's total comfort for Buckeyes - and Buckeyes at heart. - Jeni. Grass-grazed milk.
