Safe Handling Instructions: This product was prepared from inspected and passed meat and/or poultry. Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in the refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat and poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard. Cooking Instructions: Oven: Heat oven to 300 degrees F. Remove corned beef from package and place fat-side up in 13 x 9 x 2 - inch baking pan. Add water until halfway up the sides of the meat; sprinkle spice packet over top. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake 3 to 4 hours until fork tender. Stovetop: Remove corned beef from package and place fat-side up in 4- to 6-quart stock pot or dutch oven; sprinkle spice packet over top. Fill pot with water until meat is covered by 1/2 inch; cover pot. Bring water to a boil over high heat, about 10 to 15 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer 2 to 3 hours until fork tender. Slow Cooker: Remove corned beef from package and place fat-side up in 3 1/2- to 5-quart slow cooker. Add 1/2 cup water and sprinkle spice packet over top of meat. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 10 hours (High: 4 to 5 hours). Tip: For maximum tenderness, thinly slice meat across the grain.
