If any cavatelli are frozen together, do not separate. They will usually separate during cooking. For food safety and quality, follow these cooking instructions: Stove-top Cooking: Bring to a boil 3-4 quarts of water (Salt water if desired). Add Cavatelli to boiling water. Simmer for 3-5 minutes or until desired tenderness, stirring occasionally. Drain carefully and serve with your favorite sauce. Microwave Cooking: Mix together 1/4 cup of water and 1/2 cup of your favorite sauce with 1 cup of Cavatelli. Place in a microwaveable dish and cover. Heat on High Power (100%) for 2-3 minutes, stirring halfway. Let stand, covered, for 1-2 minutes before serving. Remove cover carefully as steam is hot. (Note: Microwave ovens may vary; adjust cooking times accordingly). Internal temperature should reach 165 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to use. Do not refreeze.
