Directions for use: 1. Cut tape at edge of side flap. Lift and remove the top lid along the perforation, leaving the corrugated pad in the remaining tray. 2. While your cat watches, rub the catnip into the surface of the pad with your fingers. This helps activate the natural scent of the catnip and encourages your cat to scratch. 3. Place the scratcher anywhere your cat will feel comfortable, especially near sofas, chairs or other favorite scratching targets. 4. When scratching pad becomes worn, flip over for continued use. To create an angled scratcher: 1. Lift perforated section on back. 2. Fold panel to form triangle. 3. Pull up lock tab, fold in sides and insert into u-shaped slot.
