Directions

Stove Top Instructions: For Tender, Fluffy Rice: Combine in a 3-quart saucepan 2 cups water, 1 cup uncooked rice, and if desired, 1 teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil. Turn heat down low and cover with a lid. Simmer 45-50 minutes, or until all water is absorbed. Serve. Note: For high altitudes, use slightly more water and allow 5 minutes longer cooking time.
