Directions

To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking. Stove Top Instructions: For Tender, Fluffy Rice: Combine in a 3-quart saucepan 2 cups water, 1 cup uncooked rice, and if desired, teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil. Turn heat down low and cover with a lid. Simmer 20-25 minutes, or until all water is absorbed. Serve. Note: For high altitudes, use slightly more water and allow 5 minutes longer cooking time.
