Stove top cooking instructions: Servings (about 3/4 cup cooked rice) 2-3: Rice dry - 1/2 cup. Water or Broth* - 1 cup. Butter or oil - 1 1/2tsp. Servings (about 3/4 cup cooked rice) 4-6: Rice dry - 1 cup. Water or Broth* - 1 3/4 cup. Butter or oil - 1 Tbsp. Servings (about 3/4 cup cooked rice) 8-10: Rice dry - 2 cup. Water or Broth* - 3 1/2 cup. Butter or oil - 2 Tbsp. 1. Combine rice, water, and butter (optional) in a pot, and bring to a boil. 2. Cover with a tight-fitting lid, reduce heat to low simmer, and cook 45 minutes. 3. Remove from heat (with lid on!) and let steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with fork. To prepare in a rice cooker, use same water-rice ratio. 'If rice is crunchy at the end of cooking time, it may be necessary to add 1-2 tbsp. liquid and cook longer. We recommend refrigeration for extended shelf life.
