Ready in just 5 minutes. Saucepan: 1. In a medium saucepan, bring 1 3/4 cups of water and 1/4 cup of margarine or butter to a boil. 2. Stir in stuffing mix, cover, and remove from heat. 3. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Microwave: (Microwave ovens vary. Cooking time is approximate.) 1. Combine stuffing mix, 1 3/4 cups hot water, and 1/4 cup margarine or butter in a microwavable bowl. 2. Cover bowl and microwave on high for 5-6 minutes or until heated through. 3. Fluff with fork before serving. Casserole-style stuffing: In a small skillet, melt 1/4 cup margarine or butter. Combine stuffing mix, melted margarine/butter, and 1 1/3 cups water in a mixing bowl. Toss gently with a fork to blend evenly. Place stuffing mixture into lightly-greased oven safe dish, cover, and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. In-the-bird cooking: (Stuffs approximately 6 pounds of poultry.) 1. In a small skillet, melt 1/4 cup margarine or butter. 2. Combine stuffing mix, melted margarine/butter, and 1 1/3 cups water in a mixing bowl. Toss gently with a fork to blend evenly. 3. Cover bowl and let stand 5 minutes before using. 4. Pack lightly into poultry cavity and roast according to poultry wrapper. (Do not stuff bird until ready to roast.)
