Cooking Instructions:1. Bring 4 quarts of water to a rapid boil. If desired, add 2 teaspoons of salt. 2. Gradually add pasta to boiling water. Stir gently and return to a rapid boil. 3. Cook uncovered, stirring frequently for 13-15 minutes. 4. Drain. Serve immediately after draining. Sicilian Style Sauce Over Mini Rigatoni Serves 4 Ingredients: 1 package Mini Rigatoni. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 cup chopped onion. 2 cloves minced garlic. 12 oz spicy Italian sausage links, sliced diagonally in 1/2 inch slices. 1 can (26 oz) plum tomatoes, drained & Chopped. 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, or 2 tablespoons dried parsley. 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil, or 2 tablespoons dried basil. Parmesan cheese. Preparation Instructions: 1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile in a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté onion and garlic in olive oil for 2 minutes, or until tender. 2. Add sausage and tomatoes, reduce heat to medium and simmer for 7 minutes. Add cream, parsley, basil and salt to taste and simmer for 5 minutes. Toss cooked pasta with sauce and serve. 3. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
