Keep frozen. Cook thoroughly. Thawing Instructions: Quick Thaw: Remove scallops from packaging. Place in a plastic bag and seal. Place the bag in a bowl of cold water for 30 minutes. Cook immediately after thawing. Overnight Thaw: Remove scallops from packaging. Place frozen scallops in a tray. Cover with plastic and thaw in refrigerator overnight. Sea Scallops are very delicate and should not be overcooked. For idea flavor, broiling or sauteing is recommended. Bake only as part of casserole recipe. Scallops are cooked through when they reach an internal temperature of 145°F and are opaque in appearance.
