Basic stock directions: Dissolve 1 teaspoon (equal to 1 bouillon cube) roasted beef base in 8 oz. boiling water. For each quart of stock needed, use 1-1/2 tablespoons roasted beef base. Use basic stock for soups, sauces, and gravies, or to cook vegetables, rice, or pasta with more flavor. Gingered beef with sweet peppers: In a hot pan, saute 12 oz. of beef strips in 1 tablespoon oil. Add 1/2 teaspoon garlic, 1 teaspoon fresh chopped ginger, 1 cup of pepper strips, 1/2 cup of sliced onions, 3/4 tablespoon roasted beef base, 1 table spoons soy sauce, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes. Cook for 5 - 8 minutes, serve over your favorite cooked rice. Better than bouillon. Oly 1 tsp. Beeter Than Bouillon = One cube or one 8 oz can broth. Refrigerate after opening.
