Onion dip: Directions for instant onion dip: Mix 1 envelope of instant onion soup mix with 1 16 oz. container of sour cream. Blend thoroughly. Serve with your favorite snacks. (Crackers, vegetables, potato chips, etc). Refrigerate leftovers. Onion potatoes: Directions for instant onion potatoes: Mix 1 envelope of instant onion soup mix with 1/3 cup olive or vegetable oil. Blend thoroughly and pour over 4 medium all-purpose potatoes, cut into wedges. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Bake in roasting pan until golden brown. Directions for onion soup: Empty contents of one envelope into one quart boiling water. Simmer 10 minutes with cover on pot. Stir occasionally. Makes four servings.
