Dear consumer, dried beans are a raw agricultural product and may contain foreign material. Please sort and rinse prior to cooking. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Add the contents of the large bag to the boiling water. Cover tightly and simmer over low heat for 1 hour or until tender, stirring occasionally. Add contents of small packet during the last 10 minutes of cooking. Season to taste. Makes 5 one cup servings. Cooks in 1 hour. For a heartier meal, try adding chicken, meat* or vegetables. *Note: If chicken or meat is added, soup is not pareve.
