Safety cap: center pops up if jar has been opened. Do not purchase if cap is not flat. Directions for serving: to eat cold, drain and serve the sausages straight from the jar. To eat hot, empty contents into a saucepan containing enough hot water to cover the sausages. Heat gently for 5 minutes. Do not boil. Drain and serve. Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened the product must be stored under refrigeration below 44 degrees F and consumed within 2 days.
